Sky Bet and Mkodo Finalizes Mobile Gaming Partnership

On January 21st, 2009, the British pay Television giant Sky's wagering service on Sky Bet is already in the final stages in preparing to debut its brand new mobile gambling service on the Mkodo gambling platform. The mobile site, which is scheduled to make its debut by the end of the month, will provide an interesting extension of Sky Bet's present online, interactive television and telephone wagering service.

For the debut, Sky Bet has collaborated with Mkodo, which already gives mobile managed mobile-related services to BBC, Turner Broadcasting and Rank Interactive's Blue Square. The senior product manager for Sky Bet, Pritpal Bairns stated that the mobile channel is an important aspect of their strategy, hence the decision to improve their gaming offering in this market. They have picked Mkodo because they wanted to work with one of the most respected mobile gaming supplier in the market.

The Mkodo team has a lot of experience in the provision of mobile gaming content and commerce site. This can be seen with the seamless running of the project and with Mkodo's unwavering professionalism. Mkodo has finalized an agreement with Orbis Technology recently, extending that company's capability to give bookmakers the chance to offering mobile betting services.
