BetPOS Software for Online and Mobile Sports Betting

On June 29, 2007, BEToptions, a developer of integrated software and betting systems for the gambling market, announced the launching of their BetPOS software for self-service gambling terminals and kiosks, offering casino facilities, bookmakers, horse racing courses and other land-based gambling and betting operators, like in cellular phones with a brand new wagering interface.

Aside from that, BEToptions sent a letter of intent to an international distributor of gambling materials and software to supply BEToptions BetPOS software. The first kiosks of BEToptions will come out later this year upon regulatory approval.

Stuart Cashen, the General Manager of BEToptions PTY Limited, said that the attention and interest given to their proprietary software has been tremendous and they are happy to receive the attention from a distributor of such high-caliber.

BetPOS was developed to respond to customer demand for top class retail wagering interface that could serve independently and at a good price. It also has to allow customers to easily access their accounts with different payment choices, like credit card or wager with cash from any location.

Self-service kiosks with interesting player interfaces, together with easily understandable help screen and instruction videos have been proven to attract a younger market base to sports, racing and the overall wagering market.

The software also uses state-of-the-art technology and runs on the most common hardware platform like a touch screen kiosk aside from mobility with the use of mobile products like laptop computers and mobile gambling.

While BetPOS does not entirely rely on a specific brand of hardware, a complete solution is still available to customers because of BEToptions' partnership with KTL Technologies, New Zealand.

KTL offers software design and supplies hardware to gambling partners, with over 1,000 retails and self-service kiosks in New Zealand for the NZ Tab and Horse Racing Industry.

Stuart Cashen also explained that their BetPOS software comes after the success of their WAGERplayer online sports, race wagering and call center software and has grabbed the attention of casinos and bookmakers in different countries all over the world.
